Endemol Shine North America, part of global prodco and distributor Endemol Shine Group, has named Amber Sheppo as SVP of licensing.
Sheppo (pictured) will be responsible for the development of creative licensing partnerships and live events. Additionally, she will oversee product development around the company’s non-scripted and scripted series in North America. Working closely with Endemol Shine Group’s brand licensing team, she will help develop licensing opportunities for the company’s series globally.
She previously served as vice president of international licensing at 20th Century Fox, where she built international consumer products programs across film and TV titles. Before that, she was executive director of international licensing at Sony Pictures.
Sheppo takes over the licensing role from Tamaya Petteway, who has served as SVP of brand and licensing partnerships since 2015 and will now serve as SVP of brand partnerships.
Pettaway’s remit includes hit titles like MasterChef, MasterChef Junior and LEGO Masters for Fox; Extreme Makeover: Home Edition for HGTV; The Biggest Loser for USA Network; and Deal or No Deal? for CNBC.
“In her new role, Amber will not only be leading all of our licensing development and partnerships here in North America, but she’ll also be working closely with the team at our parent company Endemol Shine Group looking to create global licensing partnerships across all of our top series,” said Ben Samek, president and COO of Endemol Shine North America, in a statement.
“We have had a lot of success developing meaningful partnerships with major brands across many of our shows and we’re thrilled that Tamaya will continue leading our expanded efforts in this space going forward.”
