Viacom’s youth-skewing network MTV is gearing up to debut its new docuseries MTV’s Ghosted: Love Gone Missing, from New York-based prodco Sharp Entertainment.

Debuting Sept. 10 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, the eight episode series will see The Bachelorette star Rachel Lindsay (pictured left) and recording artist Travis Mills (right) help individuals who have been “ghosted” by tracking down the former lover, friend or family member who chose to abruptly cut off communication without explanation.

The series aims to shed light on ghosting, an act born out of the digital landscape, and explore how social media has undercut the ability to connect and communicate.

Lindsay is an attorney and American television personality best known for her role on the 21st season of ABC’s The Bachelor and the 13th season of The Bachelorette. Along with releasing three full-length albums, Mills is the host of his own radio show, Travis Mills Live, on Apple Music Beats 1 and his podcast ADHD with Travis Mills.

MTV’s Ghosted: Love Gone Missing is executive produced by Matt Sharp, Natalia Garcia and Dan Alder for Sharp Entertainment. For MTV, John Varela and Nadim Amiry are executive producers and Leanne Mucci is co-executive producer.
