Stacey Wolf named SVP of CNN Worldwide business affairs
Stacey Wolf (pictured) has been promoted to senior vice president for business affairs for CNN Worldwide.
Wolf joined CNN in 1998. She will will continue to head CNN’s business affairs, a business unit that she launched in 2014, and to lead the negotiation of all development, production, license, and distribution deals for CNN Films, CNN Original Series, and HLN Original Series.
She has worked with the development teams to negotiate the acquisition or commission of more than 40 feature and short documentary films. Her credits include RBG, Apollo 11, Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice, Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown, United Shades of America with W.Kamau Bell and This is Life with Lisa Ling.
Wolf will remain based in Atlanta and will report to David Vigilante, EVP and general counsel for CNN/WarnerMedia News and Sports.
Endeavor Content ink TV sales for The Story of Rugby
Global content developer and distributor Endeavor Content has secured sales for DHL, Desert Road and Hit+Run’s The Story of Rugby.
The sales come in advance of the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan on Sept. 20.
The six-part premium docuseries has landed with NBC Sports Network in the U.S., ESPN in Latin America, NHK in Japan, CBC Gem in Canada, Movistar+ in Spain, Viaplay in the Nordics, Fox in Australia, RTE in Ireland, Supersport in Africa and TVNZ in New Zealand.
Filmed in 24 countries, the doc explores national cultures and identities through the world of rugby, tackling colonialism, class war and sexism as well as the social, economic, historical and cultural impact of the sport.
