London-based content development, financing and prodco Fugitive Content has penned a year-long first-look deal with nascent formats company Little Delicious Media.
Under terms of the deal, Fugitive’s Anthony Kimble and Merrily Ross receive exclusive representation rights to all content created within the 12-month period by Dave Winnan and Spencer Austin’s Little Delicious.
Fugitive will also work closely alongside the Little Delicious team to develop ideas while also securing production and broadcasting partnerships worldwide.
Fugitive, meanwhile, will launch three of Little Delicious Media’s factual entertainment formats at next month’s MIPCOM market in Cannes, including relationship format 24 Hour Dates (pictured), which sees five suitors matched with five daters completing a series of challenges on a 24-hour first date; competition series Curl Up and Dye, in which local hair salons go head-to-head to see who comes out on top; and entertainment format Boom or Bust, which sees local entrepreneurs vying for the attention of millionaire investors in an attempt to sell their wares in pop-up shops.
Little Delicious was founded earlier this year by seasoned executives Dave Winna and Spencer Austin. Winnan has formerly served as VP of global format development and production at ITV, where he helped develop and launch international brands including I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here and Love Island. He was most recently CEO of consultancy Global Creatives.
Austin, meanwhile, has created numerous hit series including Celebrity Stitch-up, Your Face or Mine and 24 Hours With… as a writer, director and producer.
