Documentary-focused SVOD CuriosityStream will premiere its two-part Amazing Dinoworld series Thursday (Oct. 17), a co-production with Japan-based NHK.
The series takes viewers on a journey through the past decade of scientific discoveries.
Based on that research, the series recreates what the creature looked liked with NHK’s CGI. Episodes include “The Feather Revolution” and “The World of Sea Monsters.”
Amazing Dinoworld is the first in a trio of CuriosityStream original limited series produced in collaboration with NHK.
The second and third collaborations, Dynamic Genomes and Livable Universe (w/t) are set to premiere in the coming months.
“Viewers are in for a treat of mega proportions with Amazing Dinoworld, shedding new light on one of our most popular subjects. It’s the perfect balance of science and entertainment that CuriosityStream viewers crave,” CuriosityStream CEO and president Clint Stinchcomb said in a statement.
