ITV America, the U.S. division of British media company ITV, has elevated Emmy Award-winning casting executive Danielle Gervais to EVP of casting and talent.
In the new position, Gervais (pictured) will continue to oversee ITV America’s internal unscripted casting department, working across the company’s entire production portfolio where she will develop and package talent for current series and forthcoming projects.
She was previously senior vice president of casting and talent.
“We are constantly blown away by Danielle’s spot-on creative instincts and original thinking,” said ITV America president Adam Sher in a statement. “In an industry where casting is everything, her talent and dedication have directly impacted a string of success stories at ITV America, from noisy new series to long-running hits. Her new position is well-deserved, and we know her singular point of view will continue to help drive and define the company’s breakthrough content.”
Gervais was awarded consecutive Emmy statues in 2018 and 2019 for “Outstanding Casting for a Reality Program” for Netflix’s hit reality series Queer Eye, which is produced by ITV Entertainment.
With over a decade of experience, Gervais has built a reputation for finding and cultivating dynamic characters and contributors across a wide range of worlds.
The executive has overseen casting efforts for such series as Netflix’s Queer Eye; CBS’s Love Island; History’s Pawn Stars, Alone and Forged in Fire; TLC’s Four Weddings; FYI’s Tiny House Nation; and Fox’s Hell’s Kitchen. She has also worked with a raft of talent including John Cena, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Fergie, Love Island host and influencer Arielle Vandenberg, and Queer Eye‘s “Fab 5.”
Gervais launched her casting career by casting families for ABC’s Wife Swap. She has also discovered and grown talent for Fox, Netflix, CBS, OWN, History, A&E, HGTV, Discovery and others.
Her production credits include MTV’s Emmy-winning Made and Food Network’s Al Roker-fronted Roker on the Road.
