Mobile-first, educational entertainment media company ATTN: is launching a docuseries on Facebook Watch examining how much of popular culture originated in LGBTQ+ communities.

Everything Is Gay is hosted by actor and YouTube personality Lucas Cruikshank (pictured). Each episode sees Cruikshank exploring the deeper meanings behind trends that originated in the communities, from pop art to EDM to body glitter, to reveal just how “gay” the U.S. really is.

The series is produced by ATTN: and is set to launch tomorrow (Oct. 30) on Facebook Watch.

“Our brand is to be entertaining with a purpose,” Mike Vainisi, ATTN:’s head of originals, tells Realscreen. “We’re excited to highlight the LGBT community’s massive influence on culture, whether its global trends in music or film or the words we use everyday.”
