The Producers Guild of America (PGA) has unveiled the list of documentary motion picture nominees for the 31st annual Producers Guild Awards.

The yearly awards honor excellence in motion picture and TV production, and fete the most notable names in the industry shaping the producing profession.

The films nominated for Outstanding Producer of Documentary Motion Pictures are:

  • Advocate
  • American Factory
  • Apollo 11 (pictured)
  • The Cave
  • For Sama
  • Honeyland
  • One Child Nation

The nominees are currently being vetted for individual producer eligibility.

Additionally, Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos¬†will be recognized with the Guild’s highest honor, the Milestone Award, for his role in creating industry-wide innovation through his leadership at the global streamer.

Other category nominees will be announced on Dec. 19 and Jan. 7.

The winners will be honored at the Producers Guild’s Awards ceremony Jan. 18 at the Hollywood Palladium.
