Golan Yochpaz, former CEO of Israel broadcaster Channel 10 and Reshet news, and United Studios of Israel (USI) have launched a factual- and documentary-focused production and development joint venture.

The venture, led by Yochpaz (pictured) in collaboration with USI’s co-CEO’s Yoav Peretz and Efrat Dror, will create content for Israeli and international broadcasters and platforms.

USI’s production activities, which focus on scripted series, “edutainment” and entertainment, include formats such as Raid the Cage, Deal with It and Who’s Asking? 

“The new JV will allow us to do almost everything you can dream of in the realm of documentary, investigative journalism, current affairs, and even drama series. In an era in which the market is facing challenges, Israeli production companies and content creators also have opportunities like never before,” Yochpaz said in a statement.

Elsewhere, the company recently announced plans to move from its headquarters in Herzeliya, Israel to the town of Kfar Saba, where its building a new media center with studios, post-production facilities, offices and a media college.
