A+E Networks-owned lifestyle network FYI has plated a mid-February premiere date for the David Moscow-fronted culinary travelogue From Scratch.
Produced by UnLTD Productions, the adventure series will follow the Big actor and producer as he undergoes a global expedition to make meals from scratch.
Presented with an intricate recipe from a world-renowned chef, Moscow will be tasked with hunting, diving, gathering, foraging and growing each ingredient to cook the meal, showcasing the dedication and time it takes to cultivate everyday ingredients.
Recipes will be handed out by such acclaimed chefs as Jari Vesivalo, owner of Helsinki’s Vesivalo; Dan Kluger, owner of New York’s Loring Place; and Abigail Mbalo-Mokoena, owner of South Africa’s 4Roomed.
Throughout the 10-episode series, viewers will follow as Moscow milks a water buffalo for fresh mozzarella, harvests salt from the ocean, presses fresh olive oil, and dives for octopus in choppy waters.
From Scratch is executive produced by David Moscow and Karen Moscow, alongside director Graeme Swanepoel. For A+E Networks and FYI, Jordan Harman and Christian Murphy serve as executive producers. Additional EPs include Jason Dreyer and Damien Brown.
Moscow is represented by Grade A Entertainment and Jacobson, Russell, Saltz, Nassim & De La Torre.
From Scratch premieres Feb. 16 at 6 p.m. ET/PT on FYI.
