As delegates from around the world assemble in New Orleans for the 2020 edition of the Realscreen Summit, organizers have announced that the conference will be heading to Austin, Texas in 2022.

Organizers cite Austin’s exuberant entertainment and culture, inspiring cuisine and stunning outdoor settings as among the reasons for the upcoming move. Austin is also home to more than 250 music venues and a vibrant arts scene.

“Our delegates work hard and generate an incredible amount of business during the Summit,” said Claire Macdonald, VP, publisher at Realscreen, in a statement. “But they also have a huge appetite for world-class cuisine and entertainment. And we’re making this move to keep the event fresh and vital.”

The event will be hosted at the JW Marriott hotel in Austin. Dates for the 2022 Realscreen Summit will be announced at a later time.
