A one-hour documentary about Meghan Markle is the first release from Vice TV’s ‘Vice Versa’ independent documentary special strand, which aims to focus on “broken systems and corrupt power structures.”

Premiering on March 10 at 9 pm ET/PT, Vice Versa: Meghan Markle Escaping the Crown is produced by UK-based ITN and will look at the role that the monarchy and British tabloid media played in recent events concerning the Duchess of Sussex, and will confront issues of race, prejudice and obsession.

The special promises exclusive interviews with Palace insiders and experts, including Prince William and Harry’s former butler, American spouses of the British aristocracy and royal correspondents.

“Our flagship documentary series ‘Vice Versa’ will serve as a hub for compelling storytelling that shakes the status quo and awakens viewers to new ideas. We take differing points of view of well known stories and topics.” said Morgan Hertzan, executive vice president and general manager, VICE Television.
