Jupiter Entertainment is producing a premium documentary film about British actor Michael Enright, set to premiere next year on factual SVOD CuriosityStream, Realscreen has confirmed.
Heval tells the story of Enright (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, CSI), who joined the Kurdish People’s Protection Units in 2015 as a volunteer to fight ISIS. He is currently in exile in Belize.
The film, produced in association with Sky Studios, is executive produced by Patrick Reardon (pictured), president of Jupiter, along with Harrison Land, SVP and executive producer at Jupiter, and Rob Burk, head of content at CuriosityStream.
Craig Rosebraugh, Matthew Einstein and Adam R. Wood serve as producers, with Wood also directing.
Heval weaves interviews with the actor, his supporters and his critics, as well as video footage from Enright’s own helmet-cam, which captured battles with and interrogations of ISIS fighters.
