Netflix has revealed a new four-part documentary series based on Sharing the Wisdom of Time, the book written by Pope Francis and edited by Father Antonio Spadaro.

At the heart of the series are the stories of elders and their lived experience. Women and men, all over age 70 from around the world, share tell their tales with young filmmakers under the age of 30 from their home country, each touching on key themes like love, struggle, work and dreams.

The docuseries will feature Pope Francis via an exclusive interview, offering a point of view which will be the common thread throughout the four episodes.

The documentary series, by Simona Ercolani, is produced by Stand By Me, partner of Asacha Media Group, and will be made available globally on Netflix in 2021.
