Discovery-owned home and lifestyle network HGTV is set to premiere Rehab Addict Rescue, a spin-off of its popular  Rehab Addict franchise, this January.

Produced by Los Angeles-based Bodega Pictures, the eight-episode series will follow Rehab Addict host Nicole Curtis (pictured) as she helps homeowners overwhelmed by a renovation. In addition to airing on the network, each new episode of Rehab Addict Rescue will be available on Discovery, Inc.’s forthcoming subscription streaming service, Discovery+.

Executive producers for Bodega Pictures are Joshua Ackerman and Benjamin Nurick. Curtis is also EP. Liz Brach executive produces for HGTV.

Rehab Addict Rescue premieres Jan. 28 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HGTV.

Discovery lifted the veil on its direct-to-consumer service — launching Jan. 4 — earlier this month, and confirmed the content to be available on the platform in its first month.

At launch, Discovery+ will feature more than 50 original titles and more than 150 hours of exclusive content. The service will premiere more than 1,000 hours of original content in its first year.
