Burbank, California-based 44 Blue Productions, part of Red Arrow Studios, has fortified its senior executive ranks with the promotions of Andrew Paskoff and Shirley Jackson.
Paskoff (pictured left) has been elevated to the role of EVP of production and operations with responsibility for all physical production and operations as part of the company’s senior decision-making team.
He reports directly into 44 Blue’s co-CEOs and co-founders Rasha Drachkovitch and Stephanie Noonan Drachkovitch.
Paskoff joined the Wahlburgers studio as SVP of production in January 2019 following a two-year stint at SallyAnn Salsano’s 495 Productions, where he most recently served as head of production. There, his production credits included VH1′s Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner and MTV’s Jersey Shore.
Prior to 495, Paskoff was SVP of production at Lighthearted Entertainment and held a variety of positions at Sony Pictures Television Networks over a six-year tenure. His credits at SPT include working on locally adapted versions of such franchises as America’s Got Talent, America’s Next Top Model, The Apprentice, and The Amazing Race.
Jackson, meanwhile, has been upped to co-executive in charge of production alongside Jeff Turner, who has been with the company for nearly a decade. She will now report directly to Paskoff.
She has previously line-produced numerous programs with 44 Blue over the past 12 years, including A&E’s Nightwatch and Wahlburgers, and Oxygen’s Smiley Face Killers: The Hunt for Justice.
Her past experience also includes serving as a line producer for Netflix’s Tidying Up with Marie Kondo, and as VP of production for DuBose Entertainment, led by Hollywood producer James DuBose.
“Andrew’s wealth of production and operations experience is hugely valuable, particularly as we strategize new business opportunities and navigate continuing production on our shows during these challenging times,” said Noonan Drachkovitch in a statement regarding the promotions.
Added Rasha Drachkovitch: “We are also pleased to promote Shirley Jackson to co-executive in charge of production, recognizing the contributions she has made to 44 Blue over the past decade, and expanding her role within the company to bring her expertise across all of our series.”
Founded in 1984, 44 Blue’s productions include the Netflix docuseries Jailbirds, Investigation Discovery’s Twisted Sisters, and Animal Planet’s Pit Bulls and Parolees, which recently reached the 200-episode milestone. More recent commissions include Oxygen’s The Real Murders of Orange County, which premiered in November.
