Burbank, California-based 44 Blue Productions, part of Red Arrow Studios, has bolstered its senior ranks with the promotions of David Hale and Patrick Lambert.

Hale (pictured left), who first joined the company as an intern in 1997, has been elevated from his post of senior vice president of programming to EVP of programming.

He will now be responsible for all current series, pilots and presentations at 44 Blue, along with creating the look and style of each series.

Hale reports directly into 44 Blue co-CEOs and co-founders Rasha Drachkovitch and Stephanie Noonan Drachkovitch.

In the 22 years since joining 44 Blue, Hale has worked his way through nearly every department of the company, eventually becoming VP of current programming in 2008. He was then elevated to SVP of programming in 2015.

Over the two decades, Hale has served as a crucial member of the launch teams for notable 44 Blue series including MSNBC’s Lockup, Animal Planet’s Pit Bulls & Parolees, A&E’s Nightwatch, and as executive producer on the twice Emmy-nominated Wahlburgers for A&E.

Lambert (right), meanwhile, has been named VP of development and will be tasked with identifying new ideas and talent, and the development of any resulting projects. He reports to Noonan Drachkovitch.

Lambert boarded the company in 2015 as a talent executive, before being upped to his most recent role as head of talent and development in 2017.

As head of talent, Lambert was key in the development of several projects at HBO Max, E!, MTV, BET, TLC and OWN, with producing partners including Jessica Biel, Adam Scott, Priyanka Chopra-Jonas, Chloe Grace Moretz, and Becky G, among others.

Lambert began his career as a talent booker for WGBH-PBS in Boston before moving to Los Angeles where he worked on such series as ABC’s FABlife, IFC’s Comedy Bang! Bang! and Fox’s The Preachers.

“On behalf of everyone at 44 Blue, I am delighted that David has been promoted to this senior role within our organization,” said Rasha Drachkovitch in a statement. “The volume of new and returning shows we have slated for 2021 and 2022 requires an EVP of programming with considerable skills and talent, and David is the perfect person to help take us forward”.

“We are also delighted to promote Pat Lambert to VP development. Pat has made an invaluable contribution to our development team over the last few years, always bringing his unique creative outlook and positive energy to every project,” added Noonan Drachkovitch.
