UK-based factual prodco Barcroft Studios, part of Future plc, has named former head of production Adam Mudditt to director of production for digital TV.

Mudditt (pictured) will oversee Barcroft’s TV and digital production business and will run a team of in-house production executives. He will also oversee Barcroft’s schedule OTT channel Truly and all external TV and digital commissioning.

Katie Spedding, former production manager at Vice Media, additionally re-joins the company as production executive. Spedding previously held production manager roles at Barcroft as well as at the BBC.

Meanwhile, Jon Eastman — who has served as a series producer at the company since June 2019 — will move into the role of executive producer and look after internal commissions and new developments for digital.

Alex Morris, chief creative officer at Barcroft Studios, said: “Adam and Jon have been driving forces in our business for some time and I’m delighted to announce their promotions, while also welcoming back Katie to the Barcroft team. These appointments come at a truly exciting time for Barcroft as we continue to expand our production activity and tell a wide variety of amazing stories.”
