David Beckham is set to discuss his production company, Studio 99, and its current slate of projects in a keynote conversation at this year’s Digital MIPTV.
The soccer icon, club owner and entrepreneur (pictured) will delve into the outfit’s production and development lineup including BBC2′ A Whole New Ball Game; documentary mini-series World War Shoe; and the upcoming definitive David Beckham biopic.
In Conversation with David Beckham, hosted by director and producer Ben Winston, will take place April 13.
Digital MIPTV runs April 12 to 16.
Beckham founded Studio 99 in 2019 alongside long-time partners David Gardner and Nicola Howson.
The global production and content studio focuses on documentary films, series and format development. The company is also a commercial studio and produces a range of both editorial and marketing content for global brand clients.
Winston is a partner at Fulwell 73, serving as EP of The Late Late Show with James Corden. He is also the co-creator and EP of Apple Music’s Carpool Karaoke and Drop the Mic for TBS.
He is on board to produce and direct the HBO Max’s Friends reunion later this year.
