Veteran producer Natalka Znak is setting up a new production company after leaving her post as president of her previous shop, Znak & Co. which was backed by Sky Studios.

Znak has retained the entertainment IP from her previous company and is currently working on unannounced formats and series in production at YouTube and other major broadcast networks. She also continues to serve as showrunner and executive producer for the Fox hits MasterChef and MasterChef Junior.

Sky first acquired a minority stake in Znak & Co. in 2014. Credits under the Znak & Co. banner included Ultimate Tag, Meghan Markle: An American Princess and Revolution for Fox. The company’s other credits included Netflix’s I am a Killer; and various projects for Sky, ranging from multiple Game of Thrones-related fan series such as Thronecast, Gameshow of Thrones and Thronecast War Room; West:Word The Ultimate Westworld Fan Show for Sky Atlantic, and the music documentary Trailblazers, among others.

Prior to establishing Znak & Co., Znak served as CCO and then CEO of Zodiak USA where she produced shows such as Secret Millionaire (ABC), Celebrity Wife Swap (ABC), and truTV’s Hardcore Pawn, Lizard Lick Towing and Killer Karaoke. Prior to Zodiak, Znak served as controller of factual entertainment for ITV Studios where credits included I’m Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!, Hell’s Kitchen and Love Island.

The move follows Sky Studios launching factual production company Transistor Studios, with former Znak & Co. factual head Danny Tipping at the helm.
