NBC to air Roll Up Your Sleeves vaccine awareness special
In a continued quest to get Americans vaccinated against COVID-19, U.S. broadcaster NBC will air the television special Roll Up Your Sleeves on April 18. Presented by Walgreens and created by ATTN:, the hour-long special’s goal is to raise awareness and urge the American public to get a vaccine in order to finally end the pandemic.
Former First Lady Michelle Obama, alongside Lin-Manuel Miranda and other high profile figures, will make appearances.
In one segment of the special, Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and chief medical adviser to the President, will be interviewed by Matthew McConaughey, where, according to the team behind the special, the doctor will separate fact from fiction about the vaccines.

Summer of Soul gets air date
Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson’s debut feature doc Summer of Soul (… Or, when the Revolution Could Not Be Televised) , in partnership with Disney’s new BIPOC Creator Initiative, will be released theatrically via Searchlight Pictures and stream exclusively on Hulu in the U.S. on July 2.
The film tells the untold story of the Harlem Cultural Festival that ran for six weeks in the summer of 1969, a mere 100 miles south of Woodstock. The acclaimed film won both the grand jury prize and audience award at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival.
