Realscreen, the only international trade journalism outlet devoted exclusively to the non-fiction/unscripted screen content industry, is happy to welcome journalist Andrew Jeffrey to its editorial team as news editor, effective today (April 19).

Jeffrey (pictured) comes to Realscreen after most recently working for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) office in Edmonton, where he was a reporter and associate producer.

Prior to the CBC, Jeffrey worked as a reporter for the StarMetro Calgary, a major daily newspaper owned by Canadian publishing company, Torstar. His work has also appeared in various other outlets in the past decade around Alberta and Ontario including daily newspapers such as the Edmonton Journal and public broadcasters such as TVO.

In his reporting career, he’s covered Canadian politics, elections, education, health care, sports, and even a documentary film festival or two. Now, he’s excited to bring his years of experience chasing stories to the non-fiction film and TV world for Realscreen.

Andrew can be reached at ajeffrey@brunico.com.
