Discovery owned network HGTV is teaming up once again with home renovation experts Jon Pierre and Mary Tjon-Joe-Pin (pictured) for the new series Two Steps Home.

The duo, best known from the series Going for Sold, will take a two-step approach to guide clients through the process of selling their current house and buying a new one that better fits their needs.

Premiering June 16, the eight-episode series will showcase Jon Pierre, a real estate agent, and Mary, a designer — also busy parents of two — as they help their Houston-area clients sell, buy and renovate to create their ideal home.

In step one, Mary’s  design ideas will ensure the client’s house sells for top dollar. For step two, Jon Pierre will use his know-how of the Houston market to find the client a new property that meets most of their wish list but needs a few renovations to make it perfect. Once their current home sells, Jon Pierre and Mary will invest the extra profit to buy and overhaul the family’s new home.

Throughout the season, the real-life couple will lead a wide range of clients to a home they never want to leave, from a family that needs a dedicated homeschool space to a couple with a new baby who wants room for the grandparents.

Red Arrow Industries is producing with executive producers Danny DowningRyan Hardison and Jaime Paxtson Morey.
In other Discovery news, the series Too Large brings attention to cases of extreme obesity with oversized personalities to match. Seven desperate hopefuls each weighing between 400-lbs and 800-lbs seek the help of renowned bariatric surgeon Dr. Charles Procter, as they attempt to lose weight and change their lives forever. Each episode will follow a new case, culminating in either the success or setback of their weight loss journey. The series premieres June 2 on Discovery+.
The companion series Too Large: Where Are They Now? will share patients looking back on the decisive moments of their journeys and opening up about their lives after surgery also debuts June 2 on the streamer. Both shows are produced by Crazy Legs Productions with executive producers Keely Walker Muse, Lissette Decos, Alana Goldstein, Tom Cappello, and Scott Thigpen.  Co-EP is David Schewel.
