A new iteration of MTV’s long-running Jersey Shore franchise is on the way for Paramount+.

Rio Shore, a Brazilian version of the format from 495 Productions, will air on the ViacomCBS streaming service in the second half of this year. The series will follow the lives of 10 young people from around Rio de Janeiro while they’re on vacation and living together.

Jersey Shore ran for six seasons between 2009 and 2012 on MTV. Since it premiered, other iterations of the format have aired in countries such as Mexico, England, Spain and Poland.

The series will include 12 one-hour episodes. It will be produced by VIS Americas and Endemol Shine.
