HBO is set to premiere Catch and Kill: The Podcast Tapes, a docuseries directed by Emmy-winning filmmakers and World of Wonder co-founders Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato that brings to life Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Ronan Farrow’s bestselling book and hit podcast, Catch and Kill: Lies, Spies and A Conspiracy to Protect Predators.
The 6 x 30-minute docuseries will focus on Farrow’s interviews with whistleblowers, journalists, private investigators and others. Catch and Kill: The Podcast Tapes is billed as an expansion of the book and podcast series, the former of which played a major role in the downfall of disgraced film mogul Harvey Weinstein. The series promises never-before-seen footage along with fresh perspectives and details.
The series will debut with back-to-back episodes on HBO July 12, with new episodes premiering back-to-back every Monday. It will also be available to stream on HBO Max.
Catch and Kill: The Podcast Tapes was produced by World of Wonder.
Bailey, Barbato, Mona Card, Unjin Lee and Francy Kachler serve as producers, with Farrow executive producing. Tina Nguyen was senior producer for HBO with executive producers Nancy Abraham and Lisa Heller.
