London-based global entertainment studio, The Story Lab, has signed a licensing deal for the factual entertainment format All Together at the Table with Discovery Networks Mexico.

Via the deal, the format will air as Todos a la Cocina, premiering on Discovery Home & Health and produced in-house by Discovery. The series originated on M6 in France as Tous en Cuisine hosted by Cyril Lignac (pictured), and it sees a celebrity chef cook a two-course meal for four people live from their kitchen. The chef includes the list of ingredients on social networks in advance of the series’ episodes so viewers can follow the chef’s instructions in real time.

Discovery Networks Mexico will launch an eight-episode primetime series initially on the Home & Health channel, to be followed by airings on Food Network Latin America and Sony Channel, Mexico. The deal also sees a wider partnership with The Story Lab and Dentsu International client T-Fal, a French cookware and appliance manufacturer, to feature its products in the series.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Discovery to bring this inclusive family cooking show to screens across Latin America,” said Luci Sanan, SVP acquisitions, content sales and business development for The Story Lab Global.

“This is the latest example of The Story Lab leveraging its global network and relationships to serve the ever-growing demand of broadcasters, advertisers and their audiences with premium factual entertainment.”

The Story Lab’s slate also includes international breakout TV formats such as Game of Clones and All Star Driving School. The studio is also part of Dentsu International and provides marketing consultancy, production and distribution to global brands and advertisers.
