Award-winning Amsterdam-based content company Off the Fence bolstered its development team by hiring Becky Pott as its new development producer.
Pott has almost a decade of experience in documentary production and development, having worked with indie prodcos like Mindhouse, BBC Studios, Lambent and Top Hat, specializing in intimate access documentaries exploring subjects including crime, mental health, history and art. Among the projects she’s worked on are Louis Theroux: The Night in Question and Louis Theroux: Mothers on the Edge (BBC2), Max Clifford: The Fall of a Tabloid King (C4), The Met: Policing London (BBC1) and the Grierson Award-winning film Raped: My Story (C5).
“Today’s constantly developing market features more places to sell content than ever before. And this content can take a wide range of formats. Investing directly into our own brand opens up a world of new opportunities. Investing in the Development Team is investing in the heart of any creative company” Allison Bean, Off the Fence’s chief content officer, said in a release.
“I am looking forward to joining Off the Fence in Bristol. It is such an exciting time to be working with the company. They are going from strength to strength,” Pott added.
