Ty Warren, who has worked with Netflix for five years as the streamer’s global head of physical production, is leaving the company, Netflix confirmed on Thursday (July 22).
The Hollywood Reporter has reported that Warren’s departure is part of a larger restructuring of the physical production department at Netflix.
Since joining Netflix in 2016, Warren oversaw physical production, post production and VFX executives on several Netflix original projects. These included unscripted series like Making a Murderer and documentaries like 13th and The White Helmets, along with hit scripted series like The Crown and Stranger Things.
Prior to his time at Netflix, Warren worked as executive vice president of physical production for Legendary Pictures, and as senior vice president of production for Dreamworks Pictures.
