Andrea Scrosati will see his role at Fremantle expanded, the company announced on Tuesday (Sept. 28), from Group COO to take on the additional role of CEO Continental Europe for the production company.
In his expanded role, Scrosati will be responsible for Fremantle’s businesses in Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, The Nordics and Poland. Other markets like Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and Israel already report to Scrosati. The executive will still oversee Fremantle global drama, group M&A, strategy, marketing and communications, as well as the newly established global documentaries unit.
“(Scrosati) has been exceptional in helping us grow the business over the last three years and I am confident he will bring the same strategic vision, creativity and passion to his new role,” said Fremantle Group CEO Jennifer Mullin in a statement. Scrosati will continue to report to Mullin in his new role.
Scrosati joined Fremantle in 2018 when he was named group COO of the London-based producer and distributor, after previously working at Sky Italia.
