UK broadcaster ITV has commissioned Fremantle UK to produce a new documentary about notorious figure Ghislaine Maxwell.
Ghislaine (w/t) will feature new interviews with key figures at the center of the abuse allegations surrounding her and her relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, including alleged victims and Maxwell’s own siblings, some of whom are speaking out for the first time.
Maxwell, currently in a U.S. prison awaiting trial, denies her alleged involvement in the crimes Epstein was accused of. The new film will cover the trial while examining how Maxwell, who mixed in elite circles in Britain and the U.S., ended up allegedly embroiled in a world of sex trafficking and grooming.
Presented by Ranvir Singh, Ghislaine was commissioned by ITV’s head of factual entertainment Sue Murphy and commissioning editor, factual entertainment, Nicola Lloyd. Executive producers are Yvonne Alexander and Fatima Salaria for Fremantle UK. Fremantle retains international distribution rights.
