Realscreen is partnering with filmmaker and executive producer Chuck Braverman and his Westdoc Online video series to bring his interviews with acclaimed documentarians and non-fiction content industry figures to its readership.

In Westdoc Online’s newest episode, Braverman sits down with filmmaker Robert Weide to discuss his latest film, Kurt Vonnegut: Unstuck in Time. The film documents Vonnegut’s career and the famed author’s long friendship with Weide. The filmmaker has completed documentaries in the past on such figures as Lenny Bruce and Woody Allen.

Unstuck in Time takes a deep dive into Vonnegut’s upbringing in Indianapolis, his experience as a prisoner of war in World War II, his years as a struggling writer and his eventual rise in popularity. The documentary also includes 32-year-old archival footage and intimate interviews with Vonnegut, his children, contemporaries and Weide himself, who shares with Braverman how he became a reluctant part of the story.
