British indie prodco Nevision is expanding its global reach with the launch of a new bicoastal U.S. operation, Nevision Inc. The move grows the London-based company’s roster of divisions following the launch of Nevis Productions in the Nordics in 2020.

Nevision Inc. will operate out of offices in L.A. and New York, headed by Sandy Wax (pictured left) who will serve as president, and Vincent Gabriele (pictured right), who will be the company’s COO. Nevision’s James Cabourne will be chairman.

Nevision Inc. will develop its own projects across the unscripted, scripted, kids and family genres. The U.S.-based team will also focus on developing platform partnerships, as well as securing coproduction deals and presales in North America for Nevision’s and Nevis Productions’ existing slate of projects.

Wax has more than 30 years of experience leading strategy and operations in major entertainment companies including NBCUniversal, Comcast, Walt Disney Company and Discovery Communications. As president of Sprout, she launched and built Comcast’s kids and family unit, leading the transformation of Sprout to an originals-driven brand. Before Sprout, Wax was key in programming strategy, acquisitions and operations for Disney ABC Cable. Most recently, Wax has been advising established brands and startups on new business expansion and transformation.

Gabriele is also an experienced media professional with a long track record in corporate strategy, financial analysis and planning. He has held several senior roles at major entertainment and sports companies including NBCUniversal, Sprout and the NFL. Most recently he has been advising studios and media companies with a focus on creating content strategies ranging from development to greenlight to global distribution on terrestrial, SVOD, FAST and digital platforms.

“Having established ourselves in the UK and Europe, the USA is a natural evolution into another key market for Nevision,” said James Cabourne, executive chairman at Nevision and chairman at Nevision Inc. in a statement. “Partnering with Sandy and Vinny to create Nevision Inc. is a perfect complement to our creative teams in both Scandinavia and the UK. We are delighted to be joined by our new colleagues to share relationships and opportunities for our collective slate of projects across scripted, factual and kids and family programming.”
