The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) has officially released the list of films eligible for the 2022 Oscar for best documentary feature.

In total, 138 documentary features were listed as eligible for the 2022 Academy Award, a precipitous drop from the record-breaking 238 that were eligible last year.

Notable inclusions on the list are award season favorites and popular titles from the past year including Ascension, Becoming Cousteau, Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry, Flee, Introducing Selma Blair, Roadrunner: A Film About Anthony Bourdain, Summer of Soul (…Or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised) (pictured), The First Wave, The Lost Leonardo, The Rescue, The Velvet Underground, Val and more.

The full list can be found on the Academy’s website and accessed here.

Flee, directed by Jonas Poher Rasmussen, was also included as a film eligible for best animated feature film and best international feature film.

The shortlist of 15 films for the Academy Award for best documentary feature will be unveiled on Dec. 21.
