Four projects have been nominated in the Diversity & Inclusion category for the upcoming Realscreen Awards, slated for January 26.

The special programming category is designed to honor a series, miniseries or one-off program that positively reflects diversity and inclusivity through its subject matter and casting, or provides a greater understanding of the topic, and that educates and inspires positive change. Nominees are selected from eligible entries submitted to the 2022 competition.

The nominees for the Diversity & Inclusion award at the 2022 Realscreen Awards are:

The 2022 Realscreen Awards will be held in-person during the Realscreen Summit in Austin, Texas on January 26. In addition to the nominees across myriad non-fiction and unscripted categories, which can be seen here, the ceremony will also feature the induction of A+E Networks Group president and chairman Paul Buccieri and Nutopia founder Jane Root into the Realscreen Awards Hall of Fame. Filmmaker and Firelight Media founder Stanley Nelson will also be honored with a Realscreen Legacy Award during Realscreen Summit Lite.
