Seven more international content distributors have joined the line-up for the upcoming London Screenings, scheduled for Feb. 28 to Mar. 4.
Beyond Rights, Blue Ant International, Cineflix Rights, DCD Rights, Hat Trick International, Passion Distribution and Studiocanal are the latest distributors to join the line-up, which will also feature All3Media International, Banijay Rights, eOne, Fremantle and ITV Studios.
Each company will host individual events across The London TV Screenings week, which will include exclusive content, sessions and networking opportunities. Organizers say more companies are expected to announce their participation in the weeks ahead.
Full details of agendas, dates and times will be sent from the participating companies to their partners in the coming weeks. All events will be held in line with COVID-19 guidelines and protocols as advised at the time by the UK government.
The event’s scheduled dates conflict with the BBC Studios Showcase, which is also scheduled for Feb. 28 to March 2, 2022. As with 2021, organizers have ruled out an in-person event, instead opting for a virtual-only showcase.
The growth of the London Screenings also arrives at a time when more studios and distributors are opting to host their own events, with UK-headquartered BossaNova also announcing the return of its Development Day event.
