Realscreen is partnering with filmmaker and executive producer Chuck Braverman and his Westdoc Online video series to present his interviews with acclaimed documentarians and non-fiction content industry figures to its readership.

In the newest episode of the interview series, Braverman sits down with Andreas Koefoed, the director of The Lost Leonardo. The new documentary feature explores the story behind the Salvator Mundi, the most expensive painting ever sold at $450 million. Questions about the painting’s authenticity, and whether it really is a Leonardo da Vinci work, have trailed it as its price soared.

The documentary premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, and was also screened at AFI Docs, before being released in the U.S. in August.

Koefoed is an award-winning Danish filmmaker whose past works include At Home in the World, The Arms Drop and Ballroom Dancer. Koefoed has also made films and videos for Vice, Magnum Photos and The New York Times.
