BBC Studios has promoted Eve Frederick to senior vice president of production for its Los Angeles production arm.

Frederick oversees production teams for BBC Studios-produced series like Life Below Zero on National Geographic, the true-crime documentary Murder Among the Mormons for Netflix, Ex-Rated on Peacock and Top Gear America on MotorTrend.

“Over the past two years throughout the pandemic, [Frederick] has skillfully managed a multitude of rapidly shifting circumstances. Eve’s production expertise, her commitment to our crews as well as to the creative vision for our series, and her focus on advancing sustainability are vital to our Los Angeles production business,” said Valerie Bruce, general manager of BBC Studios, Los Angeles Productions.

Most recently, Frederick was vice president of production for BBC Studios, Los Angeles Productions. Additional series credits she holds at the company include Port Protection and Breaking Bobby Ones for National Geographic and Texicanas for Bravo.

In the past, Frederick also helped build the Los Angeles arm of Matador Content, where she was named executive in charge. There, she oversaw development and series projects with ABC, HBO, Facebook, A&E, National Geographic, Viacom and more. She’s also worked in roles at Discovery, Oxygen and MTV Networks, and on the Apple Music documentary Give Me Future.
