Realscreen is partnering with filmmaker and executive producer Chuck Braverman and his Westdoc Online video series to present his interviews with acclaimed documentarians and non-fiction content industry figures to its readership.

In the newest episode of the series, Braverman sits down with filmmakers Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin to discuss their new film The Rescue. The documentary chronicles the Tham Luang cave rescue in 2018, when 12 kids from a junior soccer team and their coach were trapped in a flooded cave in northern Thailand.

The Rescue was shortlisted for the 94th Academy Awards in the Best Documentary Feature category. The two filmmakers have previously won the Oscar in this category for their 2018 film Free Solo.
