Corie Henson, head of unscripted for WarnerMedia-owned TNT, TBS and TruTV, sat down for the latest episode of the Unscripted and Unprepared podcast, produced and hosted by Main Event Media’s Jimmy Fox, in partnership with Realscreen.
The new episode is now available on Stitcher, Podbean, Spotify and Apple, and on other platforms.
Henson oversees unscripted creative development and production for WarnerMedia’s three cable brands. Prior to assuming the role in 2019, Henson served as EVP of alternative entertainment at Fox, overseeing development on franchises like MasterChef, So You Think You Can Dance and Hell’s Kitchen.
In this episode, Henson discusses her work at Warner, Fox, E! and ABC. She also debates with show host Fox about what the greatest U.S.-created reality format is, and which show she would choose if she could only work on one for the rest of her life.
Past episodes of Unscripted and Unprepared have featured influential unscripted screen content executives like Audio Up’s Jared Gutstadt, Roku’s Brian Tannenbaum, Spotify Studios’ Liz Gateley, YouTube’s Alex Piper, NBCU’s Rod Aissa, Nickelodeon unscripted head Rob Bagshaw, and Fremantle North America’s Jayson Dinsmore, among many others.
Jimmy Fox’s production credits with Main Event Media include CNN’s United Shades of America with W. Kamau Bell and Amazon Prime’s Inside Jokes.
