Coming soon after Amazon’s announcement that it had completed its $8.45 billion acquisition of MGM is the news that the tech giant is getting set to debut a reality competition series for its streaming service based on one of the studio’s most renowned properties.

Amazon’s Prime Video has greenlit 007′s Road to a Million, a James Bond-inspired reality competition series. UK outfit 72 Films will produce the eight-part series, along with MGM Television and Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson.

Two-person teams will compete to win a £1 million ($1.3 million) cash prize through tests of intelligence and endurance conducted in many locations around the world that have been prominently featured in Bond films.

Production on the series will begin later this year, with casting already underway and applicants invited to send in submissions. Dominic Bird will manage the series on behalf of the studio, while 72 Films CEO David Glover will executive produce the series along with Wilson and Broccoli for Eon Productions and Barry Poznick and Mark Burnett for MGM.

The series follows the most recent James Bond film, No Time to Die, which marked the final turn in the role for star Daniel Craig (pictured).
