“Old is gold” is the mantra of the upcoming HGTV series Renovation Goldmine, which is slated to premiere on the network on April 30. New episodes will also stream on HGTV GO on the same day.

The eight-episode series spotlight’s Chicago renovation experts Joe and Meg Piercy, who own a business dedicated to repurposing treasures found in clients’ homes. Each episode finds the duo reviving old furniture and other pieces already owned by their clients, with the money saved going towards giving the families their dream home renovation.

Over the course of the series, Joe and Meg will transform various items, including side tables, a vintage desk, antique chairs and more, into statement pieces that will then be incorporated back into the renovated spaces.

Renovation Goldmine is produced by Frank Content Inc. Executive producers for Frank are Pasquale DeFazio and Dan Connell.
