Canadian LGBTQ+ network and streaming service OUTtv has announced a new slate of original unscripted programming for the spring.

The slate kicks off on April 28 with the premiere of Ruckus in Dutchess (8 x 30 min., pictured) from Charles Plummer Productions. The series follows a Black-owned BBQ bistro in rural, conservative New York that has a new staff seeking solace during the pandemic. They’ll have to learn to live on unfamiliar ground and work together despite opposing views, alliances and secrets.

Also debuting April 28 is OUT for Laughs (8 x 30 min.) from Sonic Nursery Creative, a celebration of queer stand-up comedy featuring LGBTQ+ comics and their takes on everything from polyamory and gay volleyball to car insurance and not-dating.

Launching on May 13 is the new quiz show F*cking Smart (6 x 60 min.) from production company Daddy TV, featuring Willam Belli and Sophie Anderson facing off in a queer sex-ed quiz show hosted by Sapphire Slay and Juju Minxxx.

Another¬†May 13 premiere is the competition series GoGo for the Gold (7 x 30 min.) from Power Media,¬†in which a dozen diverse go-go dancers from across the U.S. head to Hollywood to compete for the title of America’s champion go-go superstar — and a $10,000 cash prize.

Finally, making its debut on June 23 is Gauntlet of Gaymes (6 x 30 min.), a fast-paced game show from Producer Entertainment Group. Hosted by Michael Henry, the competition sees queer celebrities participating in a series of games that will challenge their talent as well as their mental and physical fitness.

OUTtv’s streaming platform is available via iOS and Android devices, Apple TV, Roku and on web browsers in Canada and the U.S. OUTtv is also available in Canada and the U.S. as an Apple TV Channel and in Canada and Australia as an Amazon Prime Video channel.
