Roku has teamed with the prodcos of actresses Reese Witherspoon and Zoë Saldaña to produce the first-ever feature-length unscripted reality format, and has also announced two other new dating and relationship titles that are being added to its slate for 2023.

Produced by Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine and Saldaña’s Cinestar Pictures, To Paris for Love: A Reality ‘Rom Com’ is a feature-length film that offers an unscripted take on the classic romantic-comedy genre. The 90-minute film focuses on three single friends who head to Paris looking for true love, following them on first dates and chance encounters as they seek their soulmates. Executive producers on the project are Witherspoon, Sara Rae and Sue Kinkead for Hello Sunshine, while Cinestar is represented by Zoë, Mariel and Cisely Saldaña.

Also slated is the social-experiment relationship series The Marriage Pact (w/t, 8 x 60 min.), which focuses on pairs of longtime friends who have all made the same promise to one another: that they will get married to each other if they are both still single by a certain age. The series accompanies each duo as the clock ticks down, and they are faced with the decision of whether they are really going to follow through on their pledge.

The series is produced by Boat Rocker affiliate Maven, whose president, Jessica Sebastian-Dayeh, serves as executive producer along with Peter Scalettar and Jessica Nahmias.

The third announced project is Match Me in Miami (w/t, 8 x 60 min.), which shadows the reps of a VIP Florida matchmaking service as they attempt to get some of the city’s most eligible singles hooked up on a tight timeline. The series is produced by dating and romance reality specialist Lime Pictures, an All3Media company. Executive producers for Lime are Ben Crompton and Sarah Tyekiff.

In a release announcing the new projects, Roku’s head of alternative originals Brian Tannenbaum stated: “As we continue to build our Roku Originals slate, it’s a privilege to partner with the incredible production teams behind these projects to deliver premium, original series to the Roku Channel.”
