Realscreen is partnering with filmmaker and executive producer Chuck Braverman and his Westdoc Online video series to present his interviews with acclaimed documentarians and non-fiction content industry figures.

In Westdoc’s newest episode, Braverman sits down with director/producer Keith Maitland (pictured) to discuss his new documentary, Dear Mr. Brody, which is currently available for streaming on Discovery+. The film covers the story of Michael Brody Jr., a 21-year-old millionaire who in 1970 promised to give away his $25 million inheritance for the sake of world peace.

Braverman and Maitland discuss Brody’s story and the production process of the film, as well as the making of Maitland’s previous documentary Tower (2016), which employed rotoscope animation to re-create the 1966 shootings at the University of Texas at Austin.
