Talent Systems, a software provider that connects talent and representatives with casting directors in film, TV and other mediums, has reached an agreement to acquire the eTribez casting platform, as well as the production crew professionals network Staff Me Up.

The eTribez platform is the pre-eminent unscripted and reality casting solution for productions globally, and has been used to cast series like SurvivorBig BrotherLove Island and MasterChef. Under the deal, Talent Systems will acquire eTribez’s casting platform, which is used widely by some of the biggest production companies in the UK, Europe, South America and the U.S. The platform will be rebranded, and in the next year the eTribez team will will support clients alongside the Talent Systems team to ensure a smooth transition.

eTribez will still independently run its separate production management platform, which covers production finance, planning, crew management and more.

The addition of the eTribez casting platform to Talent Systems’ portfolio will help the company meet the needs of its global customer base. It also establishes a strategic partnership between Talent Systems and eTribez.

Staff Me Up, led by CEO Jared Tobman, is a top professional network for hiring qualified crew members and creatives. The initiative also developed Coded for Inclusion, which works with diversity advocacy organizations as well as studios like A+E Networks, Warner Bros. Discovery, Banijay Americas and Amazon Studios to improve inclusive hiring for historically under-represented groups.

Staff Me Up will expand its hiring and networking platform in the coming months to include scripted TV and film production, along with its current focus on unscripted crew.
