Banijay Rights lines up format deals in Greece

Ahead of its participation in NATPE Budapest, Banijay Rights has announced new adaptations of the popular entertainment format All Together Now in Greece.

Commercial network Alpha TV has commissioned Athens-based prodco Barking Well Media to produce the first season of a local version of the format (pictured), which will be scheduled to debut later this year.

Created by Banijay UK–owned Remarkable TV for BBC One and now sold to over 18 markets, All Together Now sees singers, both solo and in groups, perform in front of “The 100,” an audience of great singers with big voices and even bigger opinions. If any of “The 100″ like what they hear, they can stand up and sing along. The more that join in, the higher the act’s score.

The deal follows the launch of Australian format The Hundred, which recently had its first international adaptation on Star Channel in Greece. The series is produced locally by Green Pixel, and was originally created by Screentime Australia/Endemol Shine Australia.

Magnolia unveils new series as part of July slate

Magnolia Network, the joint venture between Chip and Joanna Gaines and Discovery, has announced the new luxury real estate series Beach Cottage Chronicles, which will air exclusively on the Discovery+ streaming service as part of its July programming slate.

Premiering July 8, the series will explore the inspired designs, architecture and stories behind some of America’s most beautiful waterfront cottages. New episodes will debut each subsequent Friday.

Beach Cottage Chronicles is produced by BFD Productions, with Roxy Hunt and Tony Castle serving as executive producers.

Also part of Magnolia Network’s July slate are a new season of Maine Cabin Masters and the cable premiere of In With the Old.
