Music game show format That’s My Jam has been tapped for a UK adaptation, which will debut on BBC One and iPlayer.

The original U.S. series, which combines celebrity guests, dance- and trivia-based games and musical performances into a game show format, has been touted as NBC’s best digital launch for an unscripted program. BAFTA-winning comedian Mo Gilligan will take on hosting duties for the UK version, which are handled by Jimmy Fallon for the U.S. edition.

The 8 x 60-minute series will be produced by Universal International Studios’ Monkey, in partnership with Universal Television Alternative Studio. Broadcast and guest details have yet to be announced.

BBC director of entertainment commissioning Kate Phillips commissioned the series for the pubcaster. Will Macdonald and Andy Price serve as executive producers for Monkey. Universal Television Alternative Studio produces the original U.S. series for NBC, in association with Fallon’s prodco Electric Hot Dog.

Another local version of the format, Stéréo Club, recently debuted in France on TF1.
