Nat Geo Explorer investigates Brazilian twin mystery

National Geographic Channel's Explorer debuts Nazi Mystery: Twins from Brazil on Nov. 29. The program brings scientific investigators to the Brazilian outback, where in the town of Cândido Godói, close to 50 sets of twins, many with blond hair and blue eyes, reside. With the town having a rate of occurrence of twins at close to 1000% above the global average, a theory exists that Nazi doctor Joseph Mengele, who escaped to South America, resumed conducting experiments in the town, and they've produced results. The program aims to answer these claims once and for all with results from the scientific tests and evidence from both sides of the debate.
