Ofcom's sixth Communications Market Report on the UK's £52 billion TV, radio, broadband, telecommunications and mobile industries reveals that consumers would rather give up dinners out than cut down on their mobile phone spending, TV subscriptions and broadband services. Other trends revealed that consumers are using communications services more and spending less money on them, DVR usage has increased by 29% since September 2008 and increased numbers of consumers catch up on their TV online.
