Partners in Motion launches mobile division

Vancouver-based Partners in Motion has launched a new mobile company called Pocket Media, Inc. that will produce digital media and applications to complement its exiting programming. The new division is headed up by managing director David Newcombe. The company also announced a deal with post-production house Tyrell Media Corporation, which provides a variety of CGI, animation and compositing services. In other Partners news, the Smithsonian Channel will air the company's The Re-Inventors series in the United States for the firs time beginning Oct. 6.
